公升調漲三點九元，讓民眾直呼吃不消，北縣一名省錢達人卻善加利用回收食用油，提煉成生質柴油，以一比一的比例混合市售柴油使用，油耗量每公升達九點八公
里，且不影響車子性能，而一公升的生質柴油成本約十七元，搭配一公升的高級柴油，若以二十公升計算，可省下近兩百元，對開車族而言是一大福音。

<b>用回收食用油加工</b>

提倡自製生質柴油的唐嚴漢（四十三歲），三年前在北市開設「野蔓園」農藝事業，他聽到台灣師範大學教授周儒提及生質柴油決心一試，他向商家要來炸豆皮剩下的植物油，準備甲醇、氫氧化鈉，以及家用果汁機、魚缸用打氣機和家用濾水器等用具自行試驗。<br>唐嚴漢先將回收油加熱至約攝氏六十五度，把甲醇和氫氧化鈉混合後加入油內，攪拌十餘分鐘，沉澱四至八小時，分解出甲醇水，再沉澱兩小時左右，就製作出生質柴油，下層的凝膠層和甘油還可製成肥皂。<br>唐
嚴漢表示，為測試柴油品質，他購買中古柴油四輪驅動車，發現最佳使用方式，是生質柴油與高級柴油混合比為一比一，再改裝噴油壓力後，油耗量一公升可達九點
八公里，也不會損害引擎，生質柴油一公升成本約十七元，與調漲後的高柴價格三十一點九元相比，差十四點九元，混合使用十分省錢。

<b>降低車輛輸出扭力</b>

國內研究生質柴油權威的海洋大學輪機工程系教授林成原表示，生質柴油含氧量較高，燃燒後的碳渣較少、較不易酸敗且儲存安定性較佳，可有效降低引擎磨損並減少污染物排放量，缺點是輸出扭力不足，但卻是環保且清潔的替代油品。

<b><span><span id="iCliCK_SafeGuard"><span id="word2"><span id="iCliCK_SafeGuard"><span id="word2" onclick="iCliCKAction('click', 2, event, this);return true;" onmouseover="iCliCKAction('over', 2, event, this);return true;" onmouseout="iCliCKAction('out', 2, event, this);return true;" style="border-bottom: 2px dashed rgb(0, 153, 0); text-decoration: underline; color: rgb(0, 153, 0); background-color: transparent; cursor: pointer; padding-bottom: 1px;"></span></span></span></span></span><br>───────────────────────<br><br>汽油變貴，有人乾脆自己在家做生質柴油，用廢棄的食用油當原料，每18公升的廢油就可<br><br>以做出16公升的生質柴油，算一算只要18元1公升，省下不少錢，也讓這名省錢達人一夕暴紅，不少人打電話問他，怎樣在家裡做柴油？一大桶黃澄澄的油是生質柴油，全都是用回收的食用油煉出來的。環保達人唐嚴漢：「這桶滿乾淨的。」<br><br>加到汽車裡真的可以開，馬力小一些但是不傷車，很難想像是用炸豆腐皮的回收油做出來的。環保達人唐嚴漢：「這種外面再找的餐廳的，嚇死人，倒出來黑黑的。」<br><br>一大桶回收食用油油，18公升一桶350，可以煉出16公升的生質柴油，算一算，1公升大約只要18元，幾乎是市售柴油一半的價格。<br><br>這位唐先生花30分鐘在自己家，就煉出來。唐嚴漢：「加到這個玻璃瓶。」<br><br>秤重、配料，步驟其實很簡單；透明水缸裡放的白色粉末是氫氧化鈉，和甲醇調好配料後就可以處理廢油，倒出來的油拿到瓦斯爐上去加熱。唐嚴漢：「拿這個溫度計放下去。」<br><br>看看溫度計65度要立刻熄火，因為溫度過高會燃燒；加熱過的廢油，加上剛剛調好的的化學藥劑攪拌15分鐘就大功告成。唐嚴漢：「分離完就像你剛剛看到的，上下兩層它顏色會不一樣。」<br><br>唐先生本來是媒體人後來轉行改做環保，自己做柴油已經有3年，以前很少人聞問，不過現在油漲價，跑來跟他學做生質柴油的人絡繹不絕，甚至有人專程從海外來，讓他始料未及。<br></b>
