本书分为两个部分。第一部分评述《孙子兵法》在战争规律、军事
谋略、军事哲学、军事心理学、军事地利学诸多领域中所表现出的深遂
思想及其对古今中外军事、政治、外交、经济的深远影响；第二部分对
《孙子兵法》十三篇原文进行注译，并逐篇归纳为若干要点进行较详细
地解说。其显著特点，一是把艰涩难懂的古文用深入浅出、通俗流畅的
语言白话化。二是把舍事取义的抽象概括的理论用大量的战例、故事、
生活实践具体化。融理论性、思想性、知识性和趣味性于一体，因而具
有较强的可读性和实用性。
