Radhika Miller，出生于美国旧金山，在九个孩子的大家庭中排行第五。开明的父母为她提供了由戏院、芭蕾、钢琴、美术和舞蹈精心营造的具有艺术氛围的整个童年。虽然从六岁开时就学习古典钢琴，当她在大学期间读完一本关于瑜珈的书后，一时兴起，立即开始着手学习长笛，每天的练习时间都在六小时以上。三年后她在旧金山州立大学拿到了音乐学士学位，与此同时，受到她钟爱的音乐的启发，她发明了一种称之为“歌唱笛”的音乐新形式。在她的演奏中，长笛、竖琴、钢琴和大提琴的应用以及穿梭其间的人声成为她独特的音乐标志。1983年，她创建了属于自己的独立厂牌Radhika Miller Music（RRM），出版发行了包括乔治安圣歌，Palestrina ，巴哈，德彪西，Telemann ，Vaughan Williams，Linda Kohanov等众多音乐名家的优秀作品，以及她精心诠释后焕发出迷人魅力的爱尔兰传统民俗音乐。 </FONT></BLOCKQUOTE>
