此书主要就元、会、运、世来对照历史的人物事件，也是邵雍易学的一大特色，值得收藏。

历代能解皇极者少之又少，其深奥程度要超过易经。历史上只有张行成、祝泌所传的解皇极书籍为人所称道。不知这位朱隐老何许人也。当然也不排除民间有高人能解皇极或者其道行要超过张、祝二位。祝泌在其书中就曾说过邵雍（真乃亘古奇人）的皇极师于一位山林隐逸之士。
